We left Breitenbach Winery in the Dover, Ohio area (Sugarcreek to be exact) and headed north on I-77 towards Cleveland. We really enjoyed this Harvest Hosts winery and was a great quiet and peaceful location to spend the night. We passed by the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio before heading west on the Ohio Turnpike. We show you a travel plaza on the turnpike that has gas, food, restrooms and RV parking with electricity and a free dump station. From my understanding, you have to have a permit to get the electricity. Someone told me that there is a pay station for this, but we didn’t notice it. Maybe we missed it. We head north into Michigan near Toledo, Ohio and find our campsite at the Brighton Recreation Area, just north of Ann Arbor. We paid for two nights, but ended up just staying one and left a little later than normal on the second day. While in the area, we toured the University of Michigan and had some great korean food at Kang’s Korean Restaurant.
So come along for the ride. We hope you enjoy it.
