A short video of a drive through the Tanglewood Festival of Lights at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC on Christmas night, 2017. The video is sped up and the 35 minute portion of getting through the gates was omitted. The cost was $15 per car. There was a gift shiop about midway that we stopped at. It had a lot of craft items and food. There is a “S’moresville”, but it was closed that night.
Tanglewood is one of our favorite places to camp. It’s in Clemmons, NC, just west of Winston-Salem. There is easy access on and off I-40. There is a grocery store, restaurants and other shops across the street from the park. The park has paved full hook up sites, but the sites are not level! So beware of that before making your reservations. It may be best to speak to someone there to try and get one of the most level sites available. Cost is around $30-35/night. The park has a big dog park, equestrian facilities, bike paths/trails, swimming pool, tennis, golf, bmx track, fishing and access to the Yadkin river.
